Upcoming Event in Lexington: Community Forum Revisiting Landmark Education Court Case

Join the Kentucky Student Voice team in Lexington on Saturday, March 30th as we continue our statewide community conversations to explore whether Kentucky is living up to its promise of a quality education for all students.

The Kentucky Student Voice Team (KSVT) is excited to announce the continuation of our Rose Revival Campaign with an upcoming Rose Revival forum in Lexington on March 30, 2024. As advocates for equitable and quality education across the Commonwealth, we invite students, educators, families, and community members to come together, share experiences, and contribute to the critical conversation about the future of Kentucky's educational landscape.

Event Details:

The Rose Revival Campaign, inspired by the landmark 1989 Rose v. Council for Better Education decision, champions the constitutional promise of an adequate and equitable education for all Kentucky students. The event consists of small and large group discussions about education, interactive written reflection activities on the ‘7 capacities” of a quality education, and opportunities for person-to-person conversations about important issues in our education system.
